Merry Christmas! This is the view of Mt. St. Helena from Pleasant Avenue in Windsor. I painted it today with water colors.

•November 28, 2007 • Leave a CommentSince last January, I’ve been singing with an interfaith Gospel Choir out of Petaluma. Their name is Wings of Glory. What I really love is the opportunity for all faiths to sing praises to God……….. together. The music is lively and joyful. Singing is as good as having a really good laugh. It’s Love for God exemplified.
In the 1970s I went to George Washington High School, in San Francisco. When the race riots were going on our school organized group meetings to talk about the hostilities. It was a time when we had the opportunity to listened to the blacks point of view…..and then promise never to forget their hardships and do personally what we can to improve the world around us. It is heart warming to hear the joy in this music which came out of such adversity.
The Christmas concert will be December 23, 2007 (Sunday) 6 P.M.. at Open Door Christian Church, 16 Fifth Street, Petaluma, CA.
